PRECISIONCORE® MicroTFP Piezo Printhead
Upgraded with Epson’s new 2.64-inch printhead, featuring 400 nozzles per row and a total of 9,600 nozzles. The minimum droplet size reaches as small as 3.9 pl. Compared with the previous model SC-B9080, the new printhead offers a larger printing area and smaller droplet output, achieving simultaneous improvements in both print quality and speed.

Superior Print Quality
The SC-B9580 is upgraded with Epson’s Intelligent Droplet Size Control technology, enabling smarter droplet switching and more accurate droplet placement. This greatly reduces banding and graininess in printed images, while significantly improving the sharpness of fine lines and text compared with the previous SC-B9080.

Faster Printing Speed
Compared with the SC-B9080 series, the SC-B9580 delivers a substantial increase in productivity. Newly added 2-pass and 3-pass modes further enhance production efficiency and competitiveness.

Upgraded Light Six-Color Configuration
Based on CMYK, light cyan and light magenta are added to achieve finer image details and smoother color transitions, providing users with higher-quality print output.

En “UltraChrome® HDD” Dye Inkpso
The ink supply system is upgraded from 1L ink bags to 1.6L ink packs, increasing ink capacity by 60% × 3. The new ink pack structure is easier to shake, helping reduce ink sedimentation, while the vacuum ink delivery system ensures stable and consistent ink quality.

Epson Automatic Nozzle Compensation Technology
The SC-B9580 is equipped with Epson’s Automatic Nozzle Compensation Technology. The printhead continuously monitors nozzle status and automatically generates compensating droplets to cover clogged areas, minimizing the impact of missing lines and ensuring stable, high-quality continuous output.

More Durable Structural Design
Upgraded printhead guide rails and motor components enhance durability, making the system well suited for long-term, high-volume production while ensuring stable and efficient operation.

Upgraded Automatic Tension Control System
The SC-B9580 features a newly upgraded automatic tension control system, increasing maximum feeding tension from 90N to 120N. Horizontal take-up alignment is also added, further improving media feeding accuracy.

Large-Capacity Ink Supply System
Each color of the SC-B9580 is equipped with a 1.6L ink pack. Ink replacement is simpler than on the previous SC-B9080, enabling continuous and stable production.
